What is Haematology?

Haematology is branch of medicine which deals with various blood disorders (Benign i.e. Non-cancerous and Malignant i.e. cancerous) This is an interesting field of medicine which uses clinical and laboratory information to diagnose the blood disorders.

Haematology includes – Clinical Haematology , Hemato-pathology and Molecular Haematology . In each of the above fields there is constant growth of newer information and research to diagnose and treat Haematological disorders.

Treating blood disorders need good clinical and laboratory team which helps in diagnosing haematological disorders quickly and accurately so that immediate treatment can be started.
